Gillian Gallardo

Gillian recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with an M.Sc. in Global Economy (2012) as part of the ESRC 1 +3 doctoral training programme. Gillian’s PhD research topic investigates the Latin American Debt Crisis: IMF and commercial bank lending 1978- 1983. Gillian also holds an undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of Glasgow and a Master of International Political Economy from the University of Newcastle.

Prior to embarking on her PhD studies Gillian worked in various media, policy and public affairs related roles.
